I have been asked by some readers to talk more about this subject of building an online project without an awful surprise.
So, having been there, this is a total guide I caved out which I definitely know will show you how to typical build a Crypto or Personal website with WordPress using Bluehost from ground level till roofing.
As we know,
The emergence of Cryptocurrency and Bitcoin has made the Crypto Industry a vast one which as a result, we have seen the growth of Cryptocurrency News Websites every day and at its peak.
I mean, as at last 2 years, we knew just Coindesk, CoinTelegraph, and a few numbers of crypto New sites. But as of the time of writing, there are more Cryptocurrency New Websites I can list right away.
So, if you are on the verge of starting your own Cryptocurrency New Websites or building your own Crypto community, you will need a tool or a platform like a personal branded website to get you on.
In this tutorial, I am going to take you on an A-Z guide on how to create a WordPress website for your Cryptocurrency New Websites or Personal Website.
What You Need
All that you need to get started are two things. A domain name and a hosting account.
Domain name: this is what your brand will be known as; for an example, iwillteachucrypto.com is a domain name. So, you’ve got to craft yours.
And the good thing is that Bluehost will give you the pat on the back to get a FREE DOMAIN name (no payment). Yes, that is right.
Hosting Account: this is a platform you will build your website on – it is like a foundation.
As I stated before, we are using Bluehost here, so, I recommend Bluehost for hosting because it is cheap and the service is GREAT as well.
Another benefit is you will receive a FREE DOMAIN NAME when you sign up.
All right. Let’s get started…
How to Build Your Website
#1. Go over to Bluehost.com and get started.
Make sure you see the image below to avoid phishing/scam.
#2. Click on Get Started Now to set up your account.
#3. Select Your Plan.
I recommend you go for the Plus Plan – the middle because it is a plan that accommodates your website’s growth without YOU having to re-select a higher plan later on (more cost on you).
#4. Go ahead and enter the new domain name you have chosen. For an example –thisismycryptospace.com
When done, click on Next.
#5. Go ahead and enter your personal information and the confirm package that you want to sign up for.
Observation: Under the package information section, you can choose to have some add-ons like Domain Privacy Protection, SiteLock Security, Bluehost SEO Tools Start and more.
But…Never to worry as none of them are necessary right now because you can achieve all of these things with free WordPress plugins.
#6. Upon filling out all of your information, go ahead and submit and you will have a hosting account! (It’s that simple).
Setting Up Your Website
All you will have to do now is use the free WordPress import tool and your website will be up and running!
#1. Login to your Bluehost account.
Use the information you have been provided with: your username and password via email and log in.
Username – is practically your domain name
Password – Set by you.
Upon logging in, you will be redirected to your CPanel. (Cpanel is just like an account dashboard you will need to start configuring your website).
As we stated, we will go ahead and use the WordPress import tool to set up your website.
#2. Select the Install WordPress button under WordPress builders.
#3. On the next screen, click on Install.
After clicking the install button, you will be directed to a new page where you will select your domain name and Check Domain.
#4. Select your domain name and click Check Domain.
#5. Wait for the process to set up. When it is done, go ahead and accept the Terms and Conditions and click on the green button; Install Now button.
#6. Once it begins you will see the image below popping up.
When once the install is finished, you will receive an email from Bluehost with your WordPress admin login credentials.
This is the personal information you will need to login to your website account Dashboard where you can start writing or posting.
As always, make your password okay and note it down – you can write it down or use Dropbox if you want. But just note it down…
You’re done. Congratulations…
